long time no blog!
1st of all i like to talk about the soccer game i watched Adelaide United vs Melbourne Victory. Adelaide United won by 1:0. the game is tense, fast, exciting. both team are well defence, attack, well chase of the ball, its simple a great game.
i hardly watch any soccer game, the last time i watched a completed game was the world cup. sigh. i used to think soccer is some how boring, and slow. yet.. this game changed my mind(well, at least till now).
Soccer is quite popular in Adelaide. Many people play soccer. yet its not popular in the media. its quite a low-profile sport in Australia.
there are currently 7 teams in the naturally league. Adelaide United is the top one. And, its most important player. (key player)...who is a chinese imported player, named Qu Shengqing. This Guy, 4 or 5 year ago, who was the Mr soccer in china. Well, before he came to Adelaide, he is a deep trouble of getting a contract in China and facing early retirement issue of his club.
Somehow, his club( the 2nd best club in china..though CHinese soccer is crap in some sense) make a deal with Adelaide united to loan Qu Shengqing for ~$30,000AD, which is a bargain.
so yeah, Qu Shengqing moved to Adelaide, lucky with his family. started a completed new life, with lots of problems and worries. try to get a place in the team.
Well,1st he got a car crash, but luckly he was not serious injured. then he work hard, play hard. kicking goals, helping teammates. NOW. he is the forward in Adelaide United and the most important player in th team. all adelaide attacking tactics is around him.... watching him play is a a little bit like watching Michael Chang playing tennis in the old days..
here what i was tryng to say is that he, as a aged chinese player, dumped by his club, yet can stood up, became the leader of Adelaide United in serval weeks, make adelaide united ad the current No.1 team in Australia, is remarkable.
yes also there are lots of players work hard too in Adelaide United(AU) this saturday AU will against PErth Glory, which is a hard team to beat..I rememebed perth won the league last year..not so sure. Well. i just hope AU will win....
in Adelaide Summer is already in the door front. well. summer is good. though is super hot in the car or on the street. and easely get sleepy, tired or what so ever...But i guest i will enough summer. i am not a fan of spring. cos i hav hayfever.....sigh.....
Tonite is the Halloween, many Australian kids will often dress up in traditional halloween clothes, and then door knocking to get "lorlors"..
